We were so honored to have one of our favorite Dallasites, Porschla Kidd, co-host a beautiful dinner with one of our favorite creatives, Beth Hutchens, the founder and designer of FoundRae. Our beautiful daytime cafe, Teak Tearoom, was transformed into a peony and candle-filled venue to launch the newest FoundRae collection, The Constancy of Resilience.

While the rosé champagne flowed, friends and fans were enamored with the fresh-from-the-atelier designs, many seen for the first time….and many leaving on the necks and wrists (and ears and fingers) of the guests.

The L-shaped table of 32 guests was a beautiful setting for a conversation-filled dinner of extraordinary food inspired by the collection…a burrata, peach and cherry salad, Chilean Sea Bass with Salmoriglio Sauce and tomato carpaccio, and a decadent Red Velvet dessert dubbed “La Rouge”.

Beth (a Texas native) shared her deep love of the women of Dallas, the meaning behind the new collection, and the beautiful story behind FoundRae.

Just as important, serious funds were raised for the Kidd family charity,  Jason Kidd Select…providing female athletes with the foundation and tools they need to grow academically and athletically.

This night will be remembered for the friendships that were forged, the shared love of the craft and storytelling behind FoundRae, and of course, the La Rouge!
