Nate The Great

Our Holiday traditionally kicks off on 11/11…it’s the day of new beginnings. We celebrated with the one and only design legend Nate Berkus, introducing his new book, Foundations. We started the evening with a “fireside chat” with Nate and Papercity Editor-In-Chic Billy Fong in front of a rapt audiences of the city’s most talented interior designers. From there, the party took off…with tunes by the incomparable DJ Lucy Wrubel and a packed house of friends, fans and patrons of the Hope Party, benefitting the Grant Halliburton Foundation. Gala chairs Karla Noone and Reed Robertson held court while Nate signed books, and was charming to each and every guest.

Also sharing the spotlight was Sara Ferraro, the designer of SaSuPhi, style star and jeweler Jennifer Alfano, and perfumer Andrea Maack, straight from Iceland. Guest sipped Madame Zero champagne, Casa Dragones Ranch Waters and Kastra Elion “Kastra-politains”, and enjoyed retro bites—shrimp cocktail anyone?

It was a night when all the stars aligned, and for a good cause to boot.
