When the beautiful space below The Conservatory became available for the spring season, I made one call…to Gabriela Hearst. I have been lucky enough to carry her beautiful clothes for women and men for a decade, but I have never been able to fully express her world…until now.
No designer working today possesses her passion for lasting beauty in everything she does and creating real luxury rooted in sustainability. No corners are cut, and the smallest details are obsessed over. We worked hard together to create a space that expresses her warm brand of minimalism, but also is grounded in the beauty that comes from the earth, and a worldwide network of artisans. Filled with her gorgeous furniture, and a compelling installation of female artist Gabriela curated with my friend, acclaimed art advisor Sarah Calodney, the space felt completely new, yet like it has always been there.
Rounding up a trio of extraordinary hosts….Nancy Rogers, Cindy Rachofsky and Moll Anderson…was easy. Easy because they all organically wear Gabriela and want to support one of the most important woman designers working today…and one that shares their passion for art, craft, and making the world a better place.
After one of Dallas’ legendary ice storms, everyone was in the mood to celebrate, raise a glass, and enjoy a beautiful intimate dinner that felt like exactly what it was….friends celebrating with friends.
If you haven’t been yet, please come see our beautiful new Gabriela Hearst installation. I am proud to be able to share her vision with Dallas.
With Gratitude,
Brian Bolke, Founder
