We are thrilled to announce the opening of The Conservatory in beautiful Yountville.
For me, it is a homecoming in many ways. I graduated high school in Lafayette, then U.C. Davis, and started my career at I. Magnin in San Francisco (and with that, I have dated myself). I have always loved this area, and was lucky to re-connect with it through very special friends a decade ago and have been coming back since. Many of my favorite memories, and my most relaxed moments are here.
This beautiful retail space was magic when I first saw it in 2017, and decided to open Forty Five Ten Napa. It was my last “labor of love” before I left to chart a new path with The Conservatory.
After three decades in retail, I saw that the ideas of stores as we know it, and the way we were consuming, was changing. The business model of traditional retail was unsustainable. The Conservatory was conceived on partnerships with brands I believe in. Brands with great stories and every item has a thread of sustainability that runs thorough it. Items that bring joy and lasting value.
The name The Conservatory came from “a place of study,” but also is about bringing nature indoors. Most importantly, it is about conserving our planet.
I look forward to you visiting. We carry a little bit of everything, carefully curated for the Napa Valley. Some brands you know and love, but I also hope a lot of new brands to discover.
If you are ever in Napa, Dallas or New York, please visit us, or see everything we are about at theconservatorynyc.com from the comfort of your home.
