Keep It To Yourself

May brought a one-two punch of exclusive debuts at The Conservatory…the Dallas retail launch of the cult New York label, Attersee, and the introduction of the chic new line of teas from Forgrave, from Dallas-raised founder, Katherine Hicks.

We asked the formidable duo of Bradley Agather Means and Jaquelin Sewell Atkinson—already friends of the brand—to host an intimate lunch celebrating these two impressive female founders.

Attersee was founded by Isabel Wilkinson Schor, and she says “We are adjacent to the fashion world. We are more inspired by listening to what our customers need. I don’t think we’ll ever show at fashion week.”

The New York Times calls Attersee “the kind of clothes that women champion, the kind often made by female designers — Phoebe Philo’s Céline, and the Row, come to mind. Also, they aren’t as high octane or celebrity friendly as those from more headline-grabbing fashion houses.”

Both Attersee and Forgrave bring to our clients the subtle and nuanced quality that many are craving today. Something quiet and calm…and just for themselves.

Now being served in our cafe, Teak Tearoom, our go-to this summer has been Forgrave’s gorgeous discovery set. A thoughtful hostess gift that shares a moment of calm.

This September, look for Attersee’s beautiful wardrobe staples to return to our mix. They will soon become exactly what you didn’t know you were looking for.
