It’s hard not to be reminiscent of the past, and be distracted by the future. How do you strive to live in the moment?
By watching my kids grow up they are now young teenagers. Each stage has gone by so fast, if you blink you miss it. They will never be this age again – holding onto each moment.

What does Considered Luxury mean to you?
Superior comfort and efficacy. Also anything that gives you a feeling of confidence.

What was the inspiration behind starting your brand?
The brand came about slightly by chance, I was trying to create a way to have scent incorporated into theatre performances. This lead me to the world of fragrance and to work with perfumers over 10 years ago. These fragrances, therefore have always started with a theme as opposed to just creating something that we hope the market would like. Harmattan, one our fragrances, for example, is created based on a wind that crosses the Sahara. By creating them based on themes, I knew I would create a range that would include totally unique scents from what is in the market. And all 18 fragrances are unisex and totally different from each other. I wanted to make a fragrance brand from every age.

Give three words that describe your brand?
Modern, unapologetic, fresh.
