I’ll eat a salad, but a lot of people I love eat soup and sandwiches.

Everything in moderation, but I love a little
chaos in a closet and a child’s bedroom.

Currently, the porch.

What do you collect?
Sometimes I take a flower from a garden I travel to – and then I forget it’s in my pocket until a year later when I put the same coat on. Then, the envelope with the seeds gets placed on my desk.

Dream dinner guest?
I’m lucky in that I have dinner with my dream guests on a regular basis, but: there is always room at the table for anyone in the Obama family. And I believe I owe Roger Angell a special thank you dessert.

Sunday ritual?
I can’t even get into that.

Favorite flower?
Wild poppies in France.

Cheat meal?
Coffee.

Talent you’d like to have?
I always admire people who can do the Sunday Times crossword puzzle in pen.

I’d like to be the anonymous person behind a beautiful experience.

Without a doubt, the diversity.
