M: My Sunday ritual typically consists of making a big breakfast for the family followed by a walk around the neighborhood with a stop at the park. Afternoon yoga and dinner on the grill while the kids play in the pool.

T: It’s here! [Dallas] Family all nearby. Easy to get out of, easy to get into.

M: If you want something different than what is at your fingertips, you do not have to go far to get it. Whether it be a new restaurant, museum/gallery, workout class or activity, Dallas is constantly growing and provides you with endless opportunities.

It’s hard not to be reminiscent of the past and distracted by the future. How do you strive to live in the moment?

T: Really try not to take myself too seriously. Understanding and believing full control is out of grasp.

M: I try to be in the moment and cherish the now knowing that it could be my last

What was the inspiration behind starting your brand?
T: It was covid. Over the recent years, I witnessed a shift in buying behavior across markets. My desire to be flexible and creative modeling a new business based on my aesthetic and design direction is what drove me to partner with Mackenzie to launch and grow MOUS on our own.

M: My brother, Tanner, and I have a bank of idea that are inspired by our travels throughout the years. We wanted to create something that was our own and create something that we could share with others which sparked the idea for MOUS.
