Elizabeth the Bulldog

Meet The Conservatory's dog-bassador, Elizabeth.

Astrological sign?
Clearly a Virgo. I was born on September 11th and my dad says that the date is now a very fond memory for him.

Lucky number?
All numbers are lucky for me.

Favorite color?
People often say that I look good in anything.

Morning, Noon, or Night?
Mid Morning. My dad gets up pretty early and quite frankly I can’t be bothered. If I could start my day at 10am that would be just fine with me.

Uptown, Midtown, or Downtown?
Honestly, I get along with anyone in any situation so I really feel at home anywhere.

Oscars, Tonys, or Grammys?
There are a few scripts I’m considering at the moment. I haven’t committed to any of them but I’ll say Oscars anyway.

Met, MOMA, or Movies?
Movies because my dad likes watching them with me.

Football, Baseball, or Basketball?
I’m probably built more for football. As Lizzo says, “thick thighs save lives.”

Green Tea, Black Tea, or Herbal Tea?
I’m on a very clean diet so it’s just water for me.

Sugar, Splenda, or Stevia?
My body is a temple.

Red, White, or Rosé?
See my previous answer

Spicy, Salty, or Sweet?
Yes I am.

Sandwich, Soup, or Salad?
I’m more of an Atkin’s girl. Meat only for me please.

Black, White or Color?
All of the above.

Is your closet messy or neat?
My closet is spotless… my dad’s, not so much.

What’s your favorite room?
I prefer the living room because the sofa gets the perfect amount of light for afternoon naps and it’s low enough that a strong independent woman such as myself doesn’t have to ask for assistance.

What do you collect?
Attention.

Dream dinner guest?
My dad said me, didn’t he.

Do you have any rituals that you consider important to being your best self?
Oh gosh, so many… I’ll only eat from my bowl or drink my water if my dad is sitting with me. I won’t go out the front door if the trash can is in the way. So terrifying… Ear cleanings are the absolute best. Honestly, it’s like meditating. I have to move from one side of the bed to the other at least 3 times each night. Of course my dad’s always in the way but I’m committed to self-care. Car rides are great for clearing my head.

Favorite flower?
My dad thinks he’s the one bringing the orchids back to life but I’m the real talent.

Cheat meal?
I would never! How do you think I keep this figure?

Talent you’d like to have?
I have so many that I think it would be selfish to ask for any more.

Quality you want to be remembered by?
I’m f**king adorable.

What does Considered Luxury mean to you?
I’m not a label girl. I’m interested in quality, comfort and individuality.

Please discuss three brands you love at The Conservatory and why.
As Brian and I were discussing how to assort the canine category of The Conservatory, we decided we needed a North Star. We created a story around Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman and what if Richard Gere had given her a puppy. When dining, how would her table be set? Mr. Dog was the obvious answer and naturally marble and glass were the only materials we would consider. So chic. What would she relax on at the polo matches? Bottega Conticelli brings us the perfect traveling bed with an equestrian feel. We also really had fun with wellness – specifically the shampoos from L:A Bruket. I can’t wait for everyone to try them.
